The Nile University Case and its conflict with the deceased Dr. Ahmed Zewail

Dr. Mohamed Hamoda, the famous advocate whose fame did not come by accident that he stood in the face of oppressors regardless of their political position. Perhaps the cases of the Nile University are a good witness to the history of Dr. Mohamed Hamoda in taking side of fair and standing against any official. Egyptian Foundation for Technological Education Development was established in Giza a non-profit public university; in addition, the New Urban Communities Authority allocated 127 acres for the establishment of the Nile University. Moreover, all approvals were issued by the relevant authorities for the establishment of the university in 2010. However, after January 25 Revolution in 2011 many public figures emerged, including the deceased Dr. Ahmed Zewail, who decided to establish the Zewail City of Science and Technology and then the Prime Minister at that time approved the use of Zewail City for the buildings, facilities and equipment of the Nile University with no right for that. The matter that led the University to assign Dr. Mohamed Hamoda the task of canceling these arbitrary resolutions and returning all buildings and equipment to the Nile University, due to their knowledge of the history of Dr. Mohamed Hamoda in his confrontations with senior officials without fear. In addition, Dr. Mohamed Hamoda, upon being assigned the task, was able to establish urgent challenges against the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education to demolish the resolutions issued against the Nile University. Besides, during the hearings of the challenges before the State Council, the media was trended against the Nile University. However, Dr. Hamoda made the legal difference in favor of the Nile University through his strong legal arguments and the documents he fought to obtain, facing the state entities supported by the Prime Minister at that time. Moreover, Dr. Mohamed Hamoda managed to obtain final judicial rulings in standing against the legal defense bodies headed by Mr. Rajai Atteya, the advocate, to demolish the resolutions issued by state officials against the Nile University; as well as fighting another battle for the return of buildings and equipment to the Nile University, and could return them fully to the Nile University.
