Palm Hills Developments Cases
Palm Hills Developments is considered one of the pioneering real estate companies in the Egyptian Market. In the first place, the company develops residential and commercial projects as well as tourist resorts. It possesses more than 26 projects at the national level within the Arab Republic of Egypt. In the wake of 25 of January Revolution 2011, many companies encountered major financial crises due to failure of the clients to pay prices of the commercial, office and residential units sold to them. As one of the major real estate companies in Egypt, Palm Hills Developments was among those companies. Therefore, it requested support from Dr. Mohamed Hamoda, the advocate specialized in cases of companies and financial incorporations, in its litigation against clients who failed to pay prices of the commercial and residential units in the different projects of the company, which amounted to hundreds of millions. Dr. Mohamed Hamoda filed claims of terminating contracts of units' sale. He obtained final rulings of terminating sale contracts and recovering the units from customers and preserving a part of the paid amounts as compensation to the company. The amounts and units that Dr. Mohamed Hamoda regained for the company were estimated of an amount that exceeded half billion pounds, which helped the company to continue and overcome its financial crises, that constituted reasons for many real estate companies in Egypt to close. In addition, the company could continue the rest of its residential and commercial projects in the Egyptian Market and establish new projects, which the company advertised for through a significant advertising and promotional campaign through different media.
