Sale of Petrochemical Materials by the Largest Russian Company, Excalibur, to an Egyptian Company

Excalibur is one of the largest Russian companies operating in the field of petrochemicals. Excalibur exports its products to many countries across the world. An Egyptian company has imported a large shipment of petrochemicals worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. However, the Egyptian company failed to pay the Russian company the shipment value. Hence, the Russian company hired Dr. Mohamed Hamoda, for his extensive legal experience in commercial disputes, and he was able to obtain a final judgment obligating the Egyptian company to pay USD 114,000, plus due delay interests, and EGP 5 million as compensation for material and moral damage incurred by the Russian company. Dr. Mohamed Hamoda has also managed to obtain a sentence of imprisonment, fine and temporary civil compensation against the fugitive owner of the Egyptian company.
