The Disputes between the Great Artist/ Galal Al-Sharqawi with Ministry of Culture on  Licensing of the Art Theater

A Licensing Contract to use the land, on which Farid Al-Atrash Theater, was made by The Art Theater Company, represented by the great artist Galal Sharqawi, and the Art House of the theater of the Ministry of Culture. Under this contract, the Art Theater was authorized to exploit the land and to establish the theater. Artist/ Galal Sharqawi obtained all licenses and approvals necessary to operate the theater, which has presented theater shows for twenty years. He was surprised by the fact that the Ministry of Culture and Cairo Governorate were intransigent with him and refused to renew the license issued to him. He was surprised that the Ministry of Culture and Cairo Governorate notified him to evacuate the theater, which represents the life of the artist. He immediately reverted to Dr. Mohamed Hamoda, who resisted the decision to implement the evacuation of the theater and resort to a large battle against the Ministry of Culture and Cairo Governorate before administrative courts to stop these unjust decisions. Dr. Hamoda filed a lawsuit against the Minister of Culture in order to sentence him to suspend the execution of the negative decision by refusing to grant him the necessary permits to start the activities of the Art Theater. The Ministry of Culture, represented in the former minister of Culture Mr. Farouk Hosni, tried to obstruct the execution of this decision by filing many lawsuits in the urgent judiciary, which referred to the Administrative Court of Jurisdiction. However, Dr. Mohamed Hamoda was able to obtain a ruling to reject this lawsuit and granting Artist / Galal Sharqawi the technical and administrative licenses for the operation of the Art Theater and the continuation of the execution of the judgment and obtaining the final enforceable judgments. However, Cairo Governorate obstinately intervened and filed lawsuits to stop the execution. They were referred to the Administrative Court of Jurisdiction. However, Mohamed Hamoda was able to have decisions to reject such lawsuits. The Ministry of Culture did not stop obstinacy at this point; instead, it encouraged The Arab Music Institute to file a lawsuit against the Art Theater because the theater land belongs to the Music Institute belonging to The Egyptian Opera House. However, Dr. / Mohamed Hamoda managed to obtain a ruling for the formation of a technical committee to inspect the theater and the land. Eventually, he managed to obtain judgments of rejecting the claims of the Arab Music Institute and the continued possession of the Artist /Galal Sharqawi to the Art Theater.
